The original Expand-A-Pan Snare Chaser.  The Snare Chaser was designed with bad coyotes in mind.  One day while snaring for live market coyotes, I caught a coyote on a 14 foot snare in an open grass field.  That meant that the coyote had 28 feet to roam on the end of the snare, and as I’d approach him with a head catcher on one side of the 28 foot circle, he would dart to the opposite side, and so on.  The episode, I’m sure, looked like a circus act, with the coyote being the star.  That’s where the idea for the Snare Chaser was born.  The 4 ½ foot Snare Chaser quickly and effortlessly slips around the snare cable where ever the snare is anchored into the ground, and slides down the cable (or chases) towards the animal , decreasing the animal’s mobility with every inch, until the animal is safely pinned to the ground and ready for release from the snare.  The Snare Chaser keeps you and the animal safe, and makes animal removal from snares a cinch.  The inverted “w” handle doubles as a reaching pole / grapple hook for retrieving deep water body grips, snares, or traps…or anything that is just plain hard to reach.  We use our Snare Chaser daily, and it makes life on the trap line so much easier!
